Lack of inspection prompts recall of Siberoni's frozen ravioli products

The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service said 169,655 pounds of raw and frozen meat and poultry ravioli products from Siberoni have been recalled because they were produced without undergoing inspection. The move affects Siberoni brand Beef and Pork Pelmeni, Beef Pelmeni and Chicken Pelmeni. The products, carrying the establishment number P-33788 or 33788, were manufactured before Sept. 6 and were directly sold to retail outlets in Washington state and Oregon.
