Looking ahead to 2015, MAPI predicts boost in growth for manufacturing production

The MAPI Quarterly Economic Forecast predicted higher growth in manufacturing than for the overall economy over the next few years, forecasting that manufacturing production will rise 4.1% in 2015. The projections for the second half of 2013 and for 2014 for both gross domestic product and manufacturing production also promise moderate growth. "The outlooks for both the U.S. economy and the global economy are falling into place," said MAPI Chief Economist Daniel J. Meckstroth.
