A hydraulic drive-powered harvesting machine from Oregon-based GK Machine uses a covered conveyor belt that sends flats filled by workers to either side of the machine for pallet stacking. "You're looking at a 38% increase in productivity for growers and pickers just by the pickers not having to carry crates back and forth to the roadways," said salesman Jim Wolf.
