Reservist piloted F-22 in confrontation with Iranian jets, Welsh says

Gen. Mark Welsh, the Air Force chief of staff, has disclosed that earlier this year an F-22 piloted by a Reservist warned off Iranian fighter jets that had been tailing a U.S. Predator drone. "[The Reservist] flew under their aircraft to check out their weapons load without them knowing that he was there, and then pulled up on their left wing and then called them and said 'you really ought to go home,' " Welsh said at an Air Force Association conference on Tuesday.
