Sen. Reid signals willingness to vote on Vitter's amendment to allow for vote on energy bill

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., has agreed to a vote on Louisiana Republican Sen. David Vitter's health care amendment in order to move forward on energy-efficiency legislation. Reid still hopes to limit the number of amendments to the bipartisan energy bill sponsored by Sens. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., and Rob Portman, R-Ohio. "[W]e have to have a way of finishing that [energy] bill," Reid said.
