September home-builder confidence holds at August level

The confidence of home builders was steady in September, according to the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo index. The level remained at 58, the same as in August. This marks the highest level in the index since November 2005. However, some builders are worried that demand will soon falter due to rising mortgage rates.
