Tencent is the second $100 billion social network

Chinese social network Tencent saw its market value tick past $100 billion this week, ranking it just behind Facebook as the most valuable social network. Tencent has proven adept at monetizing its 818 million instant-messaging users and its 236 million mobile-chat users, analysts say. "Mobile Internet was the main driver, as this sector has been posting very fast growth," said Eric Qiu of CCB International.
