The most viral emotion on the Internet is anger, with people much more likely to echo angry sentiments than to amplify and recirculate sad, disgusted or joyful messages, researchers at Beihang University in China say. Rage is an attractive emotional bandwagon that social media users love to climb aboard, the researchers found.
