Military contracts for Florida firms now top $100M

Construction firms based near Jacksonville, Fla., have received military contracts worth more than $100 million so far this year. Military construction is "at a very high point right now," said John Brendel, a vice president at Haskell. Some military experts expect even more construction contracts as bases nationwide swell by thousands of people.
