Studies link IBD to other health concerns

People with inflammatory bowel disease are more likely to suffer from respiratory and nervous system disorders, two new studies suggest. IBD patients are at double the average risk for multiple sclerosis and display a significantly increased prevalence of asthma, bronchitis, arthritis, psoriasis and neurological disorders, the studies say.
