Unilever may sell off European food brands

Unilever is critically reviewing its portfolio of frozen foods sold in western Europe, strongly suggesting it could sell off such brands as Birds Eye, Iglo and Findus. Increasingly sophisticated private label products are pressuring many brand names, according to an analyst with Morgan Stanley.
