Parsons: AOL not on the block

Time Warner Chairman and CEO Richard Parsons expressed optimism for the future of online division AOL, telling analysts at a Goldman Sachs conference that the company was not considering a spin-off or sale of AOL. He also touted the newly announced online advertising unit Platform A, which combines sales of AOL inventory with its ad brokerage business.
