Hyundai intends to move creative to WMG as part of global strategy

World Marketing Group, Irvine, Calif., perhaps as early as next year, will take over lead creative duties for Hyundai Motor America from Omnicom Group's Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, according to the client. The shift is part of Hyundai's new global marketing strategy, which will be helmed by WMG, a shop jointly created by Hyundai and Kia, but which is not an in-house operation. Goodby did not comment for this article.
