Purdue experts hope to improve drug delivery with a disposable pump

Scientists at Purdue University have developed a disposable pump that can force drugs through microneedle arrays designed to deliver medications through the skin. One of the researchers said the group plans to seek a company that will produce the device, which doesn't rely on a battery, and collaborate with doctors to determine potential applications of the technology.
