A teacher admits his top 20 errors

Associate English professor and former school teacher Todd Finley writes that teachers make nearly one instructional decision every minute and he shares 20 mistakes he has made in his teaching career. Finley writes that he has graded too many papers at once, been unprepared when students do not respond, rushed students and forgotten to integrate fun into lessons. Finley also shares that he has been blind to students' cultural differences, been afraid to ask questions of his colleagues and forgotten to ask students questions about themselves.
