Texas firm in talks to equip Brazilian offshore-wind project

Texas-based Offshore Wind Power Systems has signed a memorandum of understanding with wind developer Eolica Brasil to discuss the possibility of providing mobile platforms for a wind-testing site off the Atlantic coast of Brazil. The MOU gives the two companies one year to negotiate the sale of OWPS's Y-shaped Titan 200 model platform to Eolica Brasil's Asa Branca offshore-wind project.
