Veterinarian reflects on VMAT assignments

Veterinarian Jim Hamilton, a team leader for the AVMA's Veterinary Medical Assistance Teams who worked at ground zero, reflects on the dogs and people that were so courageous and focused in the aftermath of 9/11. Dr. Hamilton's first VMAT assignment was during Hurricane Floyd, where he and a team of veterinarians evaluated and treated animals displaced by the flood.
