Piper fleet is affected by new FAA directives

Two airworthiness directives published this week by the Federal Aviation Administration will affect the Piper fleet. One would require 3,100 Piper Comanches to undergo inspections of the stabilator horn assembly. The other directive would affect Piper twins, requiring inspections of the exhaust system.
