AT&T taps Microsoft's Azure to boost cloud security, reduce latency

AT&T is tapping Microsoft's Azure platform for a cloud-service offering that it believes will spur enterprise demand. The partnership is an effort to give customers greater security, reduce network latency and expand access to cloud-based resources, the companies said. "This is a game changer for businesses that have been seeking a more secure way to reap the benefits of cloud services," said AT&T Business Solutions CEO Andy Geisse.
