Broadcasters aren't getting fair share of fees, Ryvicker says

Broadcasters' retransmission-consent revenue would total $13 billion a year -- five times this year's projections -- if programming fees accurately reflected share of the TV audience, according to Wells Fargo analyst Marci Ryvicker. "Broadcast captures 35% of the audience [and] gets 7% of programming fees," Ryvicker said Wednesday at an industry event in New York.
