Connected educators initiative to examine online social learning

The Connected Educators Month initiative has released a new video designed to spread word about the initiative, which drew participation from more than 170 education organizations, companies and communities last year. The focus of Connected Educators Month this year will be on integrating online social learning into professional development. "It's not just that technology has enabled these conversations," said Steve Hargadon, founder of Classroom 2.0, "but that it also calls into question the core values of how teachers learn, how learners learn, and how much do they learn from each other."
