Exports, consumer spending lift Ireland out of recession

Ireland's gross domestic product rose 0.4% in the second quarter, bringing its recession to an end, the Central Statistics Office said. The rebound was driven by a rise in net exports and growth in consumer spending. Finance Minister Michael Noonan said Ireland still faces a difficult 2014.
