Human eye inspires new camera lens with adjusting focus

Researchers from Ohio State University have developed a new technology that allows a camera lens to adjust its focal range in a way that is more similar to the way the human eye operates. The fluid-filled, flexible-polymer lens can alter its shape and length, allowing it to do the job of multiple standard lenses.
