Minn. district takes individualized approach to technology purchases

A Minnesota school district believes it has found an approach to purchasing education technology that will help the district save money and avoid buying devices that will quickly become outdated and obsolete. In one example, the district took an individualized approach to purchasing interactive whiteboards. Rather than installing the technology in every classroom, officials said installation was based on curriculum needs.
