Mobile TV data will be added to Nielsen reports in fall 2014

Nielsen is planning to announce next week that its ratings data will include mobile-device viewership for the fall 2014 season. This fall, it plans to launch a Twitter program that measures the exposure of TV-related tweets. "The reason we're investing heavily and moving quickly to measure this is that it is set to grow at a fast pace over the next couple of years," said Nielsen's Steve Hasker.
