Nation's top military leaders say budget cuts put U.S. at risk

The four service chiefs testified before the House Armed Services Committee on Wednesday, painting a dire picture of the future of the U.S. military in the wake of looming budget cuts. All four agreed that the cuts would make them unable to meet the nation's security demands. "These reductions will put at substantial risk our ability to conduct even one sustained major combat operation," said Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno.
