N.C. model plane club expands membership

Membership of the Macon Aero Modelers Club in North Carolina continues to increase. The club started out with just a few members about 10 years ago and now has more than 50. The club has a dual remote control model plane that beginners can learn on, and some members have collections of larger models. Club President Stan Penland explained the attraction to model planes saying, "You can do a lot of acrobatics that a lot of real planes can’t do."
