N.H. university serves meals on plates showing nutrition guidelines

Students who eat in the University of New Hampshire's dining halls are served meals on plates that have dietary guidelines printed on them, showing portion sizes for lean protein, whole grains, vegetables and fruits and making suggestions on foods to try. Jo Porter of the New Hampshire Institute for Health Policy and Practice says the plates are a reminder for students to eat well as they transition to school, where they are on their own in their dietary decisions.
