Research into deadly diseases gets $10M funding boost

Scientists at the University of Rhode Island have received a $10 million federal grant to expand their research on deadly diseases such as dengue fever, malaria and AIDS. The university's Alan Rothman will use the funds to expand his lab and recruit more researchers to find vaccines and study immune response.
