SWIFT conference kicks off amid controversy

The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication will hold its annual conference this week amid increased speculation that it was hacked by the National Security Agency. According to documents from Edward Snowden, the NSA hacked the SWIFT system and tracked transaction data from Europe, Middle East and Africa, which the firm denies.
