Spanish GED on the rise

While the number of English GED exams given across the nation rose 13% during the 1990s, the number of Spanish GED tests soared by 35%. Although several sections of the Spanish test are generally translations of the English exam, the Spanish GED also includes literature and arts sections emphasizing Latin American culture and writing portions assessing Spanish literacy.
