Commentary: The McCartney ad

Slate advertising columnist Seth Stevenson suggests Paul McCartney's commercial for Fidelity is a product of Sir Paul's "driving desire ... for relevance" more than it is an attempt to cash in on his legacy. While Stevenson doesn't argue that McCartney is "selling out" with his Fidelity appearance, he notes that for the current crop of teenagers and twentysomethings -- the "post-integrity generation" -- it isn't even an issue.
