Study: Fatty fish may ward off kidney cancer

Fatty fish, such as salmon and sardines, contain omega-3 fatty acids that may decrease the risk of kidney cancer, according to a Swedish study that found participants who consumed fatty fish at least once a week had 44% less risk of developing renal cell carcinoma. The study's results conflicted with earlier findings that found no association between omega-3 fatty acids and a decreased risk of kidney cancer.
