MDC's Nadal offers agency stars a new path

Miles Nadal, founder and CEO of MDC Partners, hopes to expand his Toronto-based holding company with an offbeat strategy that involves funding startups established by agency talent. While revenue from these "lift-out" companies don't contribute much to MDC's bottom line yet, Nadal's strategy sends the message to the industry that "talent matters," according to media columnist Jon Fine.
