Support growing to abolish SAT in favor of subject tests

Social scientist Charles Murray, author of "The Bell Curve" and scholar at the conservative American Enterprise Institute, used to promote the use of intelligence tests to measure aptitude. Now he is calling for the SAT to be abolished and replaced with subject-specific achievement tests, a view which is resonating with some college administrators.
