Mutual fund companies turn to social media

Fidelity, Charles Schwab and other mutual fund companies have started to embrace Twitter and Facebook. The companies are using the social-media tools to reach out to customers and for marketing purposes. "We view it as another tool in the chest, and a very important tool," said Richard Blunck, executive vice president at Fidelity.
