Utah's Interstate 15 project has generated some 19,000 jobs, providing the state economy a much-needed lift. The $1.72 billion project is one of the country's three largest currently under way. "It's a light at the end of the freeway," said project spokeswoman Heather Barnum. "It's a light with the recovery, it's something that's happening now, creating and sustaining jobs in the state."
