Active lifestyle is low-cost answer to fitness, experts say

In tough economic times, fitness experts say people should shift their workout focus from expensive gyms to just having an active lifestyle using cost-free ways to stay in shape, such as creating a walking group with work colleagues. American Council on Exercise spokeswoman Shirley Archer recommends being active through volunteering to clean up beaches and parks or building a house with Habitat for Humanity.
