IFE Wi-Fi eats up available bandwidth, but Row 44 has an answer

The surge of in-flight entertainment providers using Wi-Fi systems is placing a strain on available bandwidth. The end result is a slow experience for passengers, but Row 44 says it has the answer. "We don't run into bandwidth issues because we can turn on more transponders so our ability to add more beams throughout not only the country but around the world makes it virtually unlimited," said Howard Lefkowitz, Row 44 chief commercial officer.
