Obese, lean women have the same lipid-triglyceride storage efficiency

A study in Diabetes found that upper-body obese and lean women both had comparable storage efficiency of very low density lipids-triglyceride in visceral, upper- and lower-body subcutaneous fats. Both groups also had the same response in distributing VLDL-TG into different adipose tissue depots, experts said.
