Ralph Lauren deploys QR to pull customers into stores

Ralph Lauren's QR campaign is enticing customers with a chance to win tickets to the 2012 U.S. Open in return for scans designed to boost in-store visits. "The codes we create provide analytics to track scans and operating systems and that kind of stuff," said Matt McKenna, founder of Red Fish Media, which produced the QR codes. It's also a "great branding exercise," he said of the store-window codes, which include the Lauren polo player logo.
