DOT to award $6.4 million in grants to 20 airports for sustainability

Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx announced the department will award $6.4 million in grants to 20 airports across the U.S. for sustainability initiatives. "These grants will help airports operate more efficiently, providing savings for the airports and their travelers alike, while protecting the health of the local communities they serve," Foxx said in a statement.
