Your sales training initiative may fail to achieve the results you desire if company leaders only stop by briefly, writes Steve Loftness. "Have execs stay for part or all of the training," he advises. "Have them participate as learners or as guest instructors." Also, tailor the training materials to the needs of your company, and have current employees lead the training initiative, he recommends.
