Initiatives give bizav's rep a boost

Jay Mesinger, founder of J. Mesinger Corporate Jet Sales of Boulder, Colo., says that his company is busier than it has been in years. Business aviation got a bad reputation during the recession, but initiatives such as the National Business Aviation Association's "No Plane No Gain" have helped to boost bizav. Mesinger says the hard times are not over, but "the fact that people fly aircraft to do business, to get ahead of their competitors, to get out of their rural communities, again -- they're doing it because they have more confidence in the economy, more confidence in where the economy is going."
