Officials conduct annual taxi, limo, van exams at LAX

On Thursday, authorities inspected limos, taxis and vans for proper permits and safety systems at Los Angeles International Airport. "This is an extra step we take to protect the traveling public to ensure that they are safe when they are utilizing our ground transportation services," said Sgt. Belinda Nettles, who is part of a multi-agency team conducting the inspections.
