Teachers in Minn. district to give feedback on new curriculum

A Minnesota school district is spending $2.5 million to update its curriculum, with the most changes taking place in language arts. The district this year will implement two language arts programs at all grade levels in an effort to determine which one to adopt. Teachers have been asked to evaluate their lesson plans weekly -- based on the need for supplemental materials and other factors -- to help make a decision by April to allow time for purchases and professional development.
