AOL offers increased security for a fee

America Online will offer subscribers the chance to increase security through a two-factor authentication system. For a cost of $1.95 a month plus a one-time fee of $9.95, subscribers will get a device from RSA Security that generates a series of random numbers every minute. Customers use the numbers along with a password to access the network.
