M&M characters score sweet victory in online poll

The colorful, humanlike animated M&M characters proved they remain a public favorite, winning an online poll of most-liked advertising icons. More than 500,000 votes were cast in the poll, which was sponsored by Yahoo! and USA TODAY and is part of the kickoff to Advertising Week in New York City.
