Air Force awards Boeing $49.2 million contract

A $49.2 million Air Force Electronic Systems Center contract has been awarded to Boeing. The defense contractor will upgrade communications systems on Saudi Arabia's fleet of five E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System aircraft. The work is expected to be complete by December 2009.
