A study by the "ex-gay" movement showing more than 60% of participants by the fourth year of deprogramming did not report a significant change in their homosexual feelings is hardly an endorsement of its followers' belief that orientation can be changed, according to this article. In other news about the "ex-gay" industry, a counselor in the Renew program In Texas has received a prison sentence of 10 years for felony sexual assault, reduced by the judge to seven years of probation, stemming from his work in the program.
